What the two years actually covers, in plain language.

Every piece carries a minimum two-year warranty on the frame, the finish and any mechanism. Some makers extend it — the product page states the exact term before you buy, and the longer terms are not an upsell, they are what that workshop is willing to stand behind.
Covered
- Frame and joinery
- Splits, joint failure, warping under normal domestic use.
- Finish
- Peeling, bubbling or flaking that is not caused by heat, water or solvents.
- Mechanisms
- Drawer runners, hinges, recliner and extension mechanisms.
- Upholstery construction
- Seam failure, spring collapse, foam breakdown beyond normal softening.
Not covered
- Normal wear
- Leather patina, fabric softening, timber colour shift in daylight.
- Accidental damage
- Spills, burns, pet damage, impacts.
- Commercial use
- Unless the product is rated for it — contract-grade pieces are labelled.
- Neglected care
- Untreated timber left in direct sun, leather never conditioned.
